Reading Strategies

What did I get from this course?

               before I learned English Reading Strategies I don't like reading because it's very hard and bored.When I read English book I has many problems.

     

     -Some words are difficult.

     -I pointed every words.

     -When I read I used dictionary all the time.

     -I read very slowly.

     -I can't find the main idea of the passage.

     this subject taught me about how to read faster ,how to find the main idea and answer,writing skill.The teacher gave technical about reading it's very good for me.

     

   

My attitudes for this course

                I think this course is very important for me.It help me to understand about the topic,the matters and use the strategies which got from this course in English reading either.I tried to read more and practice every time.

Extensive reading

       

       Today is the last day for learned English Reading Strategies.This lesson was Extensive reading It can help us to improve reading skills and other skills including Speaking, Listening and Writing skills.I think it was not hard for us. 



    Then the teacher ordered us to checked the answer of work sheet.After that we tested about unit 5-8.

The  ASEAN Community 2015

       Today we learned about The ASEAN Community 2015. The teacher opened the video and she ordered us to wrote down the words that I have seen and heard on handout. After that she ordered us to answered the question.
          

        

              Then,we discuss about ASEAN and prepared to present to teacher.The ASEAN has  three pillar.

          

             1. The ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC)

             2. ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)

             3. ASEAN Social Cultural Community (ASCC)

           The ASEAN motto are One Vision , One Identity,and One Community.

              I think ASEAN are important for me and I have a problem about language. I don't know meaning of some words and I don't have confidence.

Read Faster

    Today I learned of the new topic.The teacher taught me about Read faster it's very interested because I has problem of reading and that topic has techniques for me. 
         The first teacher ordered me to answer the questions about "How do you read in English" and discuss with friends. And she ordered everyone to made spider map of the obstacles to faster reading. After that she ordered everyone to read obstacles to faster effective reading and decided whether the following statement  are True or False

         I think I has many problem about reading because I does not known the meaning of words,pointing every words,reading complex sentences, etc.

     Ann Landers, Descriptions of Books 

and Novels (Continue)

        Today, We continued to learn from last week about Ann Landers. First, Teacher told us to write the correct answers homework on the board.We spent for a long time to do this exercise.After that we discussed with friends.

            Today we learned about Classic Ann Landers.This story is recommendation between some people has problems and adviser.The teacher gave handout to us and she ordered to matched each letter to Ann Landers with it correct response.After that we read each letter and it's response again and answered the questions. 

West meets East (Continue)

       Today I continued to study West meet east.The teacher taught me about vocabulary and did activity 1,2.
Then I did grammar 1 the teacher gave me to complete the sentences with my own ideas.After that I discuss with partner. 

         Then I finished about West meet east I go to has lunch with friends and prepared to learned again at 13.30 pm.

       Today I learned about West meets East when the class begin the teacher taught me about opened some of photos and gave sheets for me. She ordered me and friends to complete the sentences with key words in bold from the text.When we finished she told me to discuss the question with partner and after that we read about the "Asianization" of the United states and decided if the sentences are True or False and wrote the line number.

Fashion  (Continue)

                    Today I learned about Fashion (Continue) But today is difference topic.The topic is Hair Style. Last week the teacher ordered me to search a photo of hair style for discuss with friends in the class. After that she taught me about the names of hair style, read the story and answered the questions.

Today's technology (continue)

                To day I learn about Today's Technology (continue).The teacher gave the examination for me about A Healthy Diet and Natural Disaster it's very hard for me.When I finished the it I made a group for work.They were discuss about the topic and present in front of the class.

             To day I was learning  about  " Today's  Technology'' .  When  the  class  started  my  teacher  told  our  to writing  on the  board, share the idea about  technology.

             Technology are very important because It's facility for person.It was crated and developed by humans and the country has evolved over times.Technology It has develop as well.And in this lesson I learned about the advantage of technology for education.

           

                                           

                            

Natural Disasters ( Continue )

        On 25 August 2015, today I leaned about News Stories Natural Disasters continue last week but as news story 2 about Typhoon Soudelor hits China with deaths,floods and mudslides

News story 3 about Landslides kill 9 in Doti and Gulmi districts of Nepal.

News story 4 about Japan earthquake Tsunami hits north- east

       News story 5 about California fires Evacuation orders given to 13,000

Natural  Disaster

        Today  I  learned  about  Natural Disasters  in my class.The lecturer taught about Natural Disasters and opened  the video about Tsunami in Japan.I see cars,ships and buildings were swept away by the wall after 8.9 -magnitude tremor, 350 people are dead and about 500 missing.

        And after that I answered the question and wrote about unfamiliar words. I think solve the problem it is story for vocabulary because some words I don’t knew or about for pronounce.After time, I think to determine for leaned and make activity of my instructor.

My Diet

                  I think my diet is very healthy. I eat a lot of vegetables and  fruits. I try not to eat too much meat and for breakfast I usually eat rice    porridge and at lunchtime I eat noodles. In the evening I eat some fruits and water. One thing I love is noodles and one thing I never eat is beef.

                       The first day we learn about  A Healthy Diet.In this lesson talking about healthy and unhealthy.Healthy food is salad , fruits, vegetable, sushi , etc.Unhealthy is burgers, french fries, potato chips, candy, fizzy drinks, chocolate cookies ,etc. In this lesson there are  talking about jungfood.Which  the meaning of jungfood is unhealthy and isn't very good for you. It's make me knew the problem of children in the school.

      Finally I have to read and practice very much about the lesson because it's very hard .and I hope the next lesson I will understand and do it better.
